Alltown Bus ServiceA Driver is responsible for transporting clients from their pickup point to their destination in a timely and safe manner.
Using a vehicle to successfully transport people, performing pre-trip inspections, performing child checks post-route, and keeping their vehicle within DOT regulations are the most important tasks of the driver.

Duties include but are not limited to:
o Transporting children and other passengers to and from schoolo Obey all traffic lawso Maintain a clean and mechanically sound bus at all timeso Ensure the safety of all studentso Perform inspections of the bus before and after each routeo Attend safety meetings as requiredo Have a clean driving recordo Must be 21 years or oldero Must be able to meet all federal, state or contractual requirements

o Arrive at destinations on schedule.
o Fulfill administrative needs, like office pickups.
o Research and plan for traffic, construction, and weather delays.
o Use navigation applications to determine the best route.
o Always interact with clients professionally.
o Ensure that the vehicle is always fueled and ready for use.
o Arrange for vehicle repairs as needed.
o Keep mileage records and repair records up to date.
o Perform other duties as assigned.
Alltown Bus Service and DHT Transportation have been providing school transportation and specialized coach and charter services in Detroit and throughout Chicago and the surrounding suburbs for over 27 years.
Alltown operates a fleet of over 600 buses across six locations, three of which are located on Chicago's north, west, and south sides.
